Nii joined CARES in 2016 as an Environmental Engineer to assist grow and run the business in Ghana by offering both administrative and technical support in-country. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of engineering with a background in both environmental and geomatic engineering.

Before joining CARES, he worked as a Geomatic Engineer carrying out survey and mapping works onshore for various projects in the oil and gas industry in Ghana such as the Cape Three Point Development and the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant sites. He also worked on orthophoto mapping of some selected blocks in Ghana and on a forest preservation project across the country. Some of the clients he worked for on these projects were the Ghana Gas Company Limited, the Ghana National Petroleum Company Limited, the Forestry Commission, the Lands Commission, ENI Ghana Exploration and Production, Sinopec Petroleum Corporation, Fugro GEOID SAS, and PASCO Corporation.

Since joining CARES, he has been involved in various environmental projects and contributed to developing environmental management plans, environmental and social impact assessment documents, oil spill contingency plans and carried out environmental monitoring works and compliance audits for various clients. Some of the clients he has worked for are the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, the Volta River Authority, the Ministry of Finance under the GEPT project, China Harbour Engineering Company Ghana Limited, the Ministry of Works and Housing under the GARID project, MODEC Ghana and Tullow Ghana.

Nii also assists with the daily management of the Ghana office by providing the necessary administrative support needed.
