Chris is involved with the supervision of the Bonny Channel Company’s operations’ bathymetric survey, capital and maintenance dredging, maintenance of aids to navigation, sonar and magnetometer survey, wreck salvaging and removal to ensure safe navigation in compliance with international requirements for best practices.

Previous to his appointment with CARES he worked with Be-Done International as environmentalist / project manager for the evacuation of treated drill cuttings from Mgbede 22/23 and Obiafu Oilfield locations in 2003. In 2003/2004, he supervised the construction of Mgbede 2km drainage for Ojestino Nig Limited. He also worked for GEOSCAN on the Escravos Gas To Liquid project in 2002 / 2003 assisting the site manager in the areas of logistics and supervision of works.

He coordinated the clean up and bio-remediation of Aghigho 8/5 and Obagi 22 oil spills in 2001 / 2002 for ELF on behalf of CSP Ltd, Port Harcourt. Chris has been involved with other projects with over 15 years relevant working experience.
