CE Lucas and Partners were involved in World Bank assisted projects such as Lagos State Water corporation where Ayo served as Projects Co-ordinator. His job with CGG as Senior Seismologist took him to different sites in Nigeria and Algeria.

Between 1993 and 2002, Ayodeji was a Senior Seismologist working in different investigative works. Some of the projects were for SPDC, SNEPCO, Total, CONOL etc.

Prior to 2005, Ayodeji worked for ACE Lucas & Parners in Lagos in some water resources projects which allowed for adequate planning for the consumers and feedback on future developments.

In CARES, Ayo has supervised projects such soil investigative works for NIPCO jetties, Siltation Study in Lagos Harbour, Soil investigation for Channel Design,and a material study for Apapa North of Lagos Harbour amongst others.
