CARES has Tow Master capability both on vessels and via semi-submersible rig moves.

We provide Tow Master services for a wide range of requirements, such as dead ship dry dockings, barge transportation, commissioning and de-commissioning of assets.

Concerning rig moves, our Tow Masters are employed to support clients, predominantly shore-based for a majority of specific rig move projects, assisting with plans and risk assessment processes; this is followed by the Tow Masters attendance for the actual rig move and associated reporting procedures, fulfilling the client’s requirements.

Our qualified Master mariners oversee and co-ordinate all marine activities in relation to the departure, transit and arrival of floating rigs / semi-submersibles. Other projects may include operations such as FPSO heading control.
