Albea, Limited Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Review

Ramboll was retained by Albea Group (‘Albea’ or ‘the client’s) to undertake a Phase I Vendor Environmental and high-level Health and Safety (EHS) Due Diligence of Abdos Lamitubes Nigeria Limited, who are involved in the manufacture of tubes and caps for the oral care industry. Ramboll assigned CARES Group to conduct the due diligence study, which was to be undertaken virtually, without having visited the site.

The scope includes a virtually conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and a Limited Environmental Compliance Review of the site. A high- level Health & Safety review was conducted virtually, to provide relevant information on Abdos’ Health and Safety management. The environmental and high-level Health and Safety (EHS) due diligence site assessment comprised the following:

• Data Review

• Review of previous reports performed by Ramboll and Albea

• Performance of a management interview with representatives of the site

• A review of publicly available information, including various maps

• Anticipated reporting of red flag issues

• Complete report including a summary table with a liability cost estimation, when possible, as per templates provided by Ramboll.
