Building Remodelling and Construction Supervision

CARES was commissioned to prepare tender documents, evaluate submitted tenders and supervise
the construction of a building remodelling project to be used as the Port Training Institute (PTI).
Phase I
Phase I of the project included undertaking a building layout design of an existing building, preparation of employer’s requirements, tender documents and drawings. In addition to this, a tender evaluation was
conducted. After this, a contractor recommendation was made and submitted to the client.
Phase II
Upon completion of Phase I and the selection of a suitable contractor by the client, CARES was appointed as project manager. This phase of work involved construction supervision, contract administration and the provision of quality assurance and quality control support.
