CARES was carrying out a project to establish an agreed concept for an Alternative Crude Evacuation
Plan (ACEP), including estimating the costs.
CARES was providing an outline project plan including the concept design; and, the steps required for thorough site surveys, engineering and detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
To accomplish this CARES is carrying out a desk study to incorporate all the knowledge collectively held on the project and immediate project environment in the time
available. This will form Stage I which will culminate in a report being produced by CARES to set out and put forward an agreed concept design.
Stage II will build on the concept design to provide sufficient detail for preliminary project planning and
costing to enable an analysis of the feasibility of the ACEP. CARES is providing the preliminary project
planning, costing and feasibility analysis.
