Condition Survey of the Terminal Berth 6-14

Nigerian Ports Authority’s (NPA) attention was drawn to the appearance of large cracks on the ENL terminal quay deck from Berths 6 to 14 in Lagos Port Complex, Apapa.

The cracks which appear to be signs of a structural failure are located at approx. 16 to 18m from the quay face, along the pavement concrete deck. The width of the cracks varies between 50mm to 300mm.

CARES Group was commissioned to investigate the state of Apapa Berths 6 -14 due to parts of the quay showing signs of cracks, settlement, and possible failure.
