Ademola Adeboya

Associate Director – Engineering

Ademola Adeboya joined Cares in August 2011 as Projects Manager in Lagos Nigeria. In 2015 he completed a role for CARES as Chief Resident Engineer at APM Terminals, Apapa, overseeing the USD 60M redevelopment project. Prior to this he was involved with the design of the Lagos harbour channel on behalf of the Nigerian Port Authority.

Previous to his appointment he worked with Scott Wilson for 21 years. Prior to joining CARES he was the Chief Resident Engineer at APMT, Apapa, container terminal development, Resident Engineer for the West African Container Terminal Port Development project and the develop Lilypond Internal Container Depot.

Between 1996 and 2005, Ademola was a Senior Engineer working in the Building Structures Section of Scott Wilson London office, he was involved in the design of various structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and masonry building projects. Responsible as, Project Manager, for design, preparation of specifications,drawings and other contract documents

Prior to 1996, Ademola worked for Scott Wilson in North England, having joined as a Graduate Engineer Under agreement in 1989, as a design engineer in various departments including Bridges Structures, Water Resources, Highway Drainage, Airport and Civil infrastructure.
