Marine and Client Representative

CARES provides Marine and/or Client Representatives, both on or offshore. Our Representatives are all fully trained and qualified, with great experience, and our local office means we can provide a positive and quick service when required.

Our representatives will oversee the offshore project work being carried out by contractors or sub-contractors on behalf of our clients.

They are the eyes and ears of our clients, assisting in the safe and efficient running of their offshore projects. Their skills and experience mean they are trustworthy and understand the work being carried out.

Part of a Marine and Client Representative roles and responsibilities include:

  • Completion of a Daily Progress Report (DPR) during mobilisation, offshore operation and onshore activities.
  • Our Marine / Client Representatives ensure HSE procedures and processes are carried out in full with incidents addressed and corrective actions carried out as deemed necessary whilst following the vessels Safety Management System (SMS), or the client’s and vessel’s agreed bridging documentation guidelines.
  • Our representatives are assertive, projecting a positive image on behalf of our client whilst pro-actively building positive relationships.
  • We aspire to complete all reporting criteria on behalf of the client including incident reports, event reporting and be included in risk assessment processes as and when required.
  • As per scopes of work involved, our representatives communicate effectively in a formal or informal capacity with all parties.

We understand contractual law and the responsibilities between contracted parties including actions required and resulting consequences upon such breaches of contract.
