Scanning Facilities Design & Construction Supervision

SGS Scanning Services commissioned CARES to design two X-Ray Scanner Facilities, one in Port Harcourt Port, and one in Onne Port. CARES also carried out the contract administration and construction supervision.
SGS wished to construct X-Ray scanning facilities at Port Harcourt and Onne Ports.
CARES was commissioned from the design phase, through to tendering, contract administration, construction supervision and project management.
CARES’ design included piled foundations employed at the Onne Port facility. At the Port Harcourt facility, as part of value engineering, CARES used ground improvement methods through engineered soils.
During construction of the facilities CARES had staff stationed on site for project management, construction supervision and contract administration.
