ISO14001 Certification Project Coordination

Tullow Oil Ghana required their Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet the requirements of ISO14001 and to be certified to demonstrate this.
CARES Group was appointed as the Project Coordinators.
Tullow successfully achieved ISO14001 certification in November 2011 and CARES Group was  commended for the quality of their work.
Work included the preparation and provision of Environmental Awareness Training (presentations and associated workshops) for the entire staff and contractors.
EMS Maintenance Support
CARES Group was appointed by Tullow Oil Ghana to assist the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team with the maintenance of their EMS in line with the requirements of ISO14001.
Work includes developing updated Environmental Aspect Registers; updating EMS documentation; setting objectives and targets; auditing of the EMS; developing an effective Correction Aspects Register; EMS associated training; providing in-house environmental expertise; and, developing an E-Waste and Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) management plans/strategies.
