Irrigation WUAs and Scheme Management

The Transforming Irrigation Management in Nigeria (TRIMING) Project aims to develop and implement a comprehensive training and change management programme for farmer Water User Associations (WUAs) and River Basin Development Authority (RBDA) personnel in support of irrigation scheme operations, maintenance, and management for the Kano River Irrigation Scheme (KRIS) and the Hadejia Valley Irrigation Scheme (HVIS), in support of ongoing and forthcoming legislative and regulatory reform in the agricultural irrigation sector in Nigeria.
