Environmental Health and Safety Due Diligence

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Due Diligence and Compliance Audit CARES was commissioned to carry out an EHS Due Diligence audit at a laminates manufacturing facility in Lagos, Nigeria.
The project is intended to identify and evaluate the potential for material environmental liabilities associated with the facility, which could give rise to third party actions, remedial measures, capital expenditures or other compliance costs. Specifically, CARES evaluated the potential for historic and current land contamination and identified the current environmental compliance status.
CARES completed a site walk over and interviews on site. CARES also reviewed available historical documents and maps, government data, the available regulatory permitting requirements and compliance. A photographic inspection was carried out of the site and surrounding properties
